The Celtic Tenors: Live at The Empire Theatre is being broadcast as a special on PBS stations nationwide, starting this week!
Filmed in August 2025 at the Empire Theatre in Ontario, Canada, the program appeals to more than just the traditional Irish music audience. Alongside popular rousing Irish songs like “Whiskey in the Jar” and “Spanish Lady/Marie’s Wedding,” the concert redefines a traditional Irish music experience by including hits from rock and pop icons.
Experience Guns N’ Roses’ “Sweet Child of Mine” reimagined with slow, melodic harmonies. Then, Coldplay’s “Viva la Vida” gets a unique, energetic twist, while Ed Sheeran’s romantic “Perfect” soars with operatic interludes. Other show highlights include the emotionally charged “To Where You Are,” made famous by multi-platinum selling American singer Josh Groban, and a stirring, traditional finale with “Danny Boy” — a heartfelt ending to the program.
During the broadcasts, stations will be running special pledge offers! By supporting your local PBS station, you can unlock exclusive perks, including:
- Tickets to our shows in the North East.
